July 15th, 2006 We're still here! Just so you know, keepin' Pittsburgh busy with shows n' at. Not much on the road as of recent, but always keeping an eye out for good opportunities to hit the road and your towns. Feel free to drop us a line if your interested in having us out your way! January 26th, 2006 It's weird to think about how much time has past and how different all of us are now. The band grew up with us as we grew up ourselves. Aaron, of course, left our band after the first year, but Joe Bruce has been nothing but family ever since he joined. We've been all over the place, spent 100 times more money than we ever made, and have slept on some of the nastiest fucking floors known to man, just to save a couple bucks to drink with. Cheers to all you shitfaces who helped us out this past half-decade. We have some new recordings and what not in the works so we'll see you soon. -TWW November 18th, 2005 Holy Shit Balls it's getting cold outside. Winter is coming and there is nothing we can do and The Steelers are shitting all over your towns. Ya see, you lose at life when you're not from Pittsburgh! As for us, we've been doing what we do. Working, Eating, Drinking, Shittin, Humping, you know... We've been laying low on shows a bit and instead writing songs for a new album. But no need to worry, we are in the process of booking some shit so hang in there. Tell you're mother to stop crying, we're coming. We have some shows booked, the final show at Brave New World with Caustic Christ and Kabuki Thunder is one of em, so hang tight and go visit our shows page and keep on keeping on. Turkey nyums nyums next week. Go visit our myspace page and say something nice to boost our egos or say hi at our message board. Thanks for reading. ZMAN! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 8-12-05 TWW and Tommy Gutless are working on some DVD project. That's about all I know... it features us all playing live and some pics of us drinking beer and doing, ya know, stuff... I'll keep you updated so you don't miss out on,what could be,the best part of your DVD collection. We've been taking it easy this summer a little bit due to being broke and taking care of some of our more "personal" summer projects. I can feel that you are in need of some intense TWW shows in your area so I assure you that show quantity will start kicking up a notch come the next month or two. hmmmmm. I guess that's about it, go look at our UK pics in the gallery and feel bad for not being there, then go sign our message board and buy some of our merchandise. I'm going to go fire up my blender now and prepare me a Pina Coloda, so I'll catch you funkfighters on the flip... ZMAN! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- May-4-2005 We have a limited number of our CD's for sale now, so feel free to check out the merch section and order one up. The street date release isn't for a couple more months, so come and get em and rub it in the face of someone you don't like. Zman! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- February 2nd, 2005 Hey you! Yeah you... the one looking at our pictures... the one thinking of unzipping your trousers just let off a little relief while surfing the hottest site on the web... Zachary S. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 10/11/2004 The Weekend Warriors have just been confirmed to play at Wasted 2005 in Morcambe, England. If that tickles you pink, at the end of the month we have three shows with punk legends, Fang also. Wait! What's that? That's not enough rock for you? Well, December 2nd Blitz is gonna be in town. (Yes, Razors in the Night/ Someones gonna Die BLITZ!) Okay Okay Okay, I know what you're thinking. Where is this fucking full length CD at for Christ Sakes!?!? Sonic Iguana has just finished the mastering and now it's all in Street Anthem Records hands ready to be available to you as soon as possible. Go visit streetanthemrecords.com and tell Aaron Bruno he owes Zman a cheesesteak and to get on the ball. And then pre-order your 15 Weekend Warriors Full lengths. Currently we're preparing for our winter shows and we are writing tons of new music. We will, of course, have some more pleasant little suprizes to pop up in the next couple months so hang in there, little guy/girl. Thanks for visiting! Booooo Whooooo Whooooo. (Those are ghost sounds) -Zman -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 8-26-2004 Well well well, I hope everyone here had an unforgetable summer of a lifetime, God knows this little (well slightly overweight) streetrock band from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania sure did. Finally, our split 7 inch with Baltimore's Mobtown Hooligans is now out and about. Visit workersunitedrecords.com or go to our merch section, or maybe even a crazier idea would be to get your fat, lazy, beaten ass out to a show and buy one. I know you've probably been checking the site daily wondering when some more shows are gonna be posted, so you can get your dose of TWW , no need to worry Hotshot, we are sure that we will give ourselves plenty to do once Fall hits. We are moving into a new practice spot and we've got our hands full right now. A CD party for the release of our full length debut on streetanthemrecords is in the works so you can surely get planty of us then. Thanks to everyone in Boston, Providence (especially Marriane Maer), Philly (everyone except that homo, Aaron Bruno), NY, Atlanta, Baltimore, North Cambria, and especially the 6 special little ones from Belgium for all your hospitalities this summer. Hope to see you all soon at our merch table spending your allowances!!! (jk) wait, no I'm not. xoxoxoxo -Zman -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 05/27/2004 Bling! We, here in warriorville, do try to get you at least one update a month, so you know we haven't fallen into the pits of depravity. It's one of our little ways of saying thank you, thank you all, for being such loyal fans and friends! NOW GO SIGN OUR GUESTBOOK! Anyhow, we're just about finished mixing the new CD - yeah yeah, it's taken us almost 6 months thus far, chill! Don't worry, because we still have to finish the artwork and get it pressed too! By the time we get it done, we will have already released two more albums! That is of coarse, a joke, but we are finalizing things, so hold on to your pants! You won't be disappointed. In the meantime, go to www.streetanthemrecords.com and check out some of the other release they have. Our split CD with the Broken Heroes is available, and is a fine choice. We also have a ton of shows planned for this summer. I know, I know, there ain't shit listed under the shows section, have some damn patience will ya! As soon as they are confirmed I will start listing them. We've got shows in the works for Cleveland, Boston, Buffalo, Atlanta, and a whole other slew of places, so you shouldn't have a problem catching the warriors in action this summer. Unless, of coarse, your stuck in a jungle in Thailand. We will be doing alot of things with other Street Anthem bands, so make sure you come out and check into some of the best Streetpunk the U.S. has to offer. Lastly, become a friend of TWW - we've signed up to www.myspace.com with a band profile, which will also include updates, as well as music, photo's and some other antics that we can come up with. Look us up on there, and be our friend. We promise we will not deny, -DJ --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 04/09/2004 Gee Golly, Thank God Winter is almost over. Pittsburgh has some of the shittiest winters. Spring's almost here and it's busy-time for us Weekend Warriors. We have a gaggle of things booked so check out our shows info and come on out. We are playing a few dates with Beerzone on their tour and then it's double trouble on March 18th with an all ages at Modern Formations and a night time drink fest at the 31st Pub at 9:30 that same night. Both are with Beer zone so come on out. And then we'll also be in Detroit and Chicago that weekend rocking the shit out of their cities. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 12/05/2003 Hello my little elves, I hope all your holiday shopping is coming together well. I bought you a multi-colored sweater with a reindeer and snowflakes on it. (this joke is gonna get funny sooner or later) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 10/8/2003 We just finished recording with Jason "Hammertime" Jouver up at 918 Lillian Way and the results are unrealisticly impressive. We did three songs for two releases coming up on Worker's United records from Baltimore. One is a split 7 inch with Baltimore's own Mobtown Hooligans and the other is a tribute to the 4Skins Compilation... We recently got back from Viva le Punk, Thank you NYC for taking all my money and taking Rambone's virginity! We had a great time, Thanks to Darren and Adi for inviting us to play. Whenever you come to Pittsburgh again I'll make sure Dj and Joe take you out somewhere nice and pay. We have a couple shows coming up in the next month or two but our main focus is to get our Full Length recorded and finished for Street Anthem Records. This CD is sure to blow your intestines out of your assholes, so make sure that you make a mental note to look foward to this release. Well, that's all for now... Take Care and have a Happy Halloween....ewwww .....grrrrrrr ......booo (that's me making scary sounds) Love, Zman --------------------------------------------------------------------------- 7-9-2003 Whether it be "Suspect Device" Jason taking us on a historical tour of Boston or stealing "Broken Heroes" Tim's sunglasses in Jersey or losing $100 at War at a Casino in Detroit or even going on a romantic late night drunken boat ride on the 4th of July looking at fireworks. Our tour has been nothing short of an unbelievably amazing time! We can't thank everyone enough for all the beers, the fun, and the support. Feel free to drop us a line on our message board and let's all keep in touch. **Our CD is finally available so if you havent gotten one yet feel free to email us or contact streetanthemrecords.com and pick one up. -Weekend Warriors and Wee-Z and Erin B. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- 5-1-2003 Whoa Ho Ho!!!! The Weekend Warriors officially had their first practice 5 years ago in Squirrel Hill at our old drummer, Aaron Nowalk's house. Back then we would meet right after work, practice till 7 and then the neighbors would bitch so we would go to Silky's and drink whatever the special was.

Also big thanks to Kirk up in Detroit anf T.J. in Erie for all the hard work they put into those shows, they were a fuckin blast and the Iron is on the house when you come this way!

We also got to see another good band in Road to Ruin out of Deleware. It was filled with your usual drunken antics , throw in a cake or two....

Keep checking here and www.streetanthemrecords.com for updates! In the same news, SAR will be becoming a PA label! This year has had more than it's share of pleasant suprizes for this little

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If the sign of bags under the eyes and grey hairs doesn't show how busy we have been, then I don't know what would! We just got back from a trip to Philly, and after the riot we had a great time playing there. We played connections in NJ the day after, and they had a hellova turnout. Most of the poeple there were to see the Broken Heroes, which if you don't know them yet, are one the the US's premier Oi! bands, and probably the longest running since they got back together. The crowd just went crazy, and the club is just fantastic. We will definatly make it up there again soon! Dead Heroes and Dysfunctional Youth, also from Jersey, played the gig, and if yo have not seen either of these bands, GO! Great hard nosed Oi! from both of these bands, and they are definatly putting NJ back on the map as one of the best spots for Oi! and Streetpunk.
Beyond gigging, we have just been confirmed recently to do a split CD with BROKEN HEROES! The Cd is being released by the up and coming record label Street Anthem Records out of Seattle! The layout is currently being put together, and as soon as the Broken Heroes finish they're recording, it will be pressed (Get to work guys!!) Tentative release date is in March 2003. We are real excited about this opportunity, as the Broken Heroes are a great band, and great people.
We have a few shows coming up to wrap up the 2002 year, ending with the yearly Christams show at Mr Roboto in Wilkensburg. Check the shows page! After that we take a little break to write some new material, and will probably start gigging again in late February or March, while we work on the tour for 2003!
Thanks to everyone that has stopped by, seen us, and heard us. We appreciate your support!! See you soon!!

Good morning!!!
Things are going strong in Warrior land. One step backward has propelled us two steps forward as we enter the end of 2002. We're taking part of some great shows comming up, and have been gathering interest from a few labels for a possible full length release in 2003. We are also working out a deal for a split 7", more details will be released as we get the info!
This winter we will be playing with one of the US's oldest names in Oi! music, Broken Heroes! They are back together after a 4 year hiatus so it is good to seem the back in action. We are also working on a few other things for early 2003, one being some international dates!! But we''ll tell you about that later..
We're also slated to play HITR. Yeah, that;'s right, Holidays in the RAIN, a spinoff of the very popular HITS. This will be held in Portland, OR, and you can get the info from our shows page.
We are still waiting on word from a few labels that are suppossed to have us on a compilation...
We will start working on our world domination 2003 tour soon. It will be sometime in June with another band, which we'll just keep a secret for now!
Thanks everyone that stops by the website, and that come out to the shows. I hope you have as much fun as we do!!
Kind Regards,
-DJ WARRIOR

time. Everyone was really awesome and it was truly an experience being
able to play with so many great bands. I'm sure the line up next year
will be even better so if you didn't make it this year, make sure you drag

specifically me being layed off from my job) I'll be leaving the Weekend
Warriors and moving to Colorado. Let me state now that this has nothing
to do with anything wrong with the band but is more of a personal move on
my part. This past year and a half or so has been nothing short of
amazing. Its rare that you'll find four musicians like ourselves that
come from totally different musical backgrounds and influences that can
come together and hit it off the way that we did. The guys have been
working with my replacement - an awesome drummer and tattoo artist named
me feeling very bitter-sweet - I'm happy to be doing something with my
life but I'm sad that I have to leave. Dj, Randy, and Zak are more than
just guys I was in a band with - they are three of my closest friends and
I'll miss them as much on a personal level as I will on a musical level.
With the amount of talent everyone brings to bear on songwriting in this
band, I'm 100% sure that the Weekend Warriors are going places and doing
so very quickly.

Hey WW fiend club,
sexy, bitchin' shit.
Thanks so much to all of the bands we rocked with: Terminus City, No Holds Barred, The Beltones, Sick Of Society, Torpedo Lucus. You guys were great and thanks for all your hospitality.
We would like to give out a big fucking "Thank You" to The Templars for
coming out this past weekend. We had a shit load of fun. Things got hectic
at times but everything turned out okay.
We leave for tour here in about two weeks so check out our shows section and
see if we are coming to your town. Buy us a beer and get a kiss.
Besides all that there are a lot of things in the works. We got some new
merch. And we have a lot of great shows coming up so be sure to get yer sexy
ass to a couple of our shows and bring yer girlfriends so we can make out
with em.
p.s. Oh yeah, thanks to Counter Attack for coming out and playing the all
ages show too.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hows it going? Things are busy as hell back here in WW land. We're just
finishing up recording our yet-to-be-titled second EP. We're still in
the process of mastering it but even the raw sound is damn good. We'll be
sure to put a couple of MP3's up on the website once we're done for all
you net nerds!
summer show season. We've got quite a few of them coming up thismonth
that are going to be very kick-ass. Just this Friday we're playing wih
Smut, Counter Action, and When in Roam at the Upstage in Oakland. This is an all ages show so make sure you drag yer ass out for it! Theres also a bar for those of us of age. Also on May 9th, we'll be playing at Nicks Fat City with Submachine and the Venus Furs. This is sure to be a great show at one of the city's coolest venues. Sorry kids - this one is over
21. :(
Planning for the Drunks and Streetpunks tour is really starting to come
together. We've secured ourselves a 15 passenger conversion van for the
long journey. We could've gotten away with a mini-van but Zak and I take
up a lot of space! Well thats about it for now. Keep checking back for
more news and show updates. Peace-out!
----------------------------------------
We've only got a couple shows this month but they're sure to be good ones. Come down to Zythos on April 13th for the Burning Sensations farewell show. Also playing will be us and Shiver. Its ashamed to see a good band go but its great that we have the opportunity to send them off! Especially since they gave us our first show. Thanks to Benj, Ed, Steve, and Tommy - you will be missed!
We'll also be going back to the studio at the end of April to record our
second EP at Hometown records. We recorded "My own change of pace" there and it was just an awesome experience. If any of you bands out there are looking for a place to record, make sure you check them out. I've yet to hear another recording in the area that matched Hometowns quality and they're prices are more than reasonable.
Well that's about all that's going on this month. As usual, keep checking
back for the latest WW gossip, bar stories, and arrest records. Later!

Hey everyone! Whats happenin? A whole bunch of stuff around here. The year has been off to a fast paced start and while it seemed like we would have nothing to do after the 1st of the year, the reality is that we're busy as hell. We've got lots of shows coming up and a lot of stuff planned from now until eternity it seems!
Go check out the Upcoming Shows page. We've got some great shows booked with some tentative dates that we're still trying to iron out. Also, if you check out the Info page, you'll notice that we've got some kick ass Weekend Warriors merchandise. Pick one up for yourself, your signifigant other, or the kids. We have sizes to match just about everyone and we can do special orders (they might take a little longer though.)
Also, in celebration of the greatest holiday of the year, ST. PATRICKS DAY, we'll be playing a show out at Rally Ally in Latrobe, PA. If you're in the area, stop in and see the show. We'll send St. Patty back to Ireland with one helluva hangover!
As usual, keep checking back for news and show updates. Take it easy
everyone!

---------- WEEKEND WARRIORS - demo CDR
this I don't think the label totally fits. There is a lot of other styles getting mixed in here and there is some really good guitar work going on that most Oi! musicians probably wouldn't be able to pull off.
The band has a 7" coming out on Dim and I don't know if it contains any of these songs but I would get it if I was you. There is a band they remind me of and it's right on the tip of my tongue but I can't remember it right now and even if I did no one would probably know who they were. Definitely more on the rock side of Punk, and by rock I don't mean all that melodic California type streetpunk, I mean real ROCK like hard rock metal stuff but mixed in so well with Punk that it's hard to classify. "Let's Drink" is my favorite and the most Oi! sounding song of the six, if every song they played was like this I would definitely want to release something!

might even get ya laid.

New Year and the band is rapidly approaching its one year anniversary. Pretty crazy stuff. I never would've thought that a bunch of drunkslike us would've came this far in a year! We're planning to make this year 10 times better and more productive than the last which means for you, the Weekend Warriors fan, more music and fun!
Just last night at practice we nailed down yet another kick ass song. The 7" from Dim Records is due out by the end of February and thanks to the bands new buddy Meghan, we're going back into the studio to record a single for Back at it again - a lurid tale of beer and strip clubs!
We'll have the mp3 up on the site for you to download.
Keep checking out the Upcoming Shows page to find out when and where we'll be appearing next. We have some really cool shows coming up that we're really excited about. Make sure you check out our show at the NEW Upstage on February 8th. Its an all ages show so our under 21 friends can come see us in a cool club and for our over 21 friends, the bar will be open! We hope to see everyone there!
Keep checking back here for the latest TWW news and updates. See yinz on the flipside!
Well thats about all I have for now but keep checking back. I'll be setting up a message board on the site one of these days and I'm sure the upcoming shows section is going to be full of stuff in 2002. Happy Holidays everyone. Later!
Cheers everyone! We just got great news from DIM Records in Germany. They are pressing our first 7", do this January/February! We will keep you informed of the release. It will feature 3 songs, City Streets, On The Other Side, and Let's Drink. You will be able to order the same way as the CD E.P., or through DIM Records.
Take Care! -DJ
still recovering! To all the attendees of the Erie show I just want to
say I'm sorry we played so bad. But, we were quite shitfaced! I guess you can take the boys out of Pittsburgh, but you can't take Pittsburgh out of the boys! Next time we play up there, we promise a much better show. Thanks to everyone who came out and a special thanks to Crazy Joe and the Throwbacks for having us out. We all had an excellent time!
If you check out the Song Samples page you can download two MP3's off of our first release entitled "We're here, wheres the beer?" We hope you like them as much as we do!
Also, there definitely is no shortage of shows coming up in the near future either. Just this Thursday we're playing at Zythos with Cut Once for a Halloween show! Thats right, its come dressed as your favorite rock star night!!! I've personally been pondering going as Dee Snyder from Twisted Sister! But I think I just might surprise everyone. And if anyone is in the mood to do some drinking or just shoot the shit, head on over to our sister site Pghdrunks. Visit the message board and post messages about local bands, music, local events, and just about anything you want. You have to sign up, but hey - its free! Well everyone - take care. We hope to see you at our next show! Later.

Hey yinz. Crazy month, huh? I want to say on behalf of the band that our thoughts are with everyone whose been affected by the recent tragedies. Its nice to see, but sad to say, that a tragedy like this has brought real unity upon everyone. Rock on!
Now on a lighter note, thanks to everyone who came out to the Scooter Rally on Saturday. It was a fun time had by all with some great music. Thanks to Cut Once and the Traditionals for coming out and putting on a hell of a show. We've got some more big shows coming up and we hope to see you all soon.
We're still putting the finishing touches on our recording. Laying down the drum tracks was a horrific experience. A gruelling four hours trapped in a small room with no fan or air conditioning! But from what I hear, the final product is gonna kick ass! We'll be sure to get some MP3's out for everyone to hear. The recording is slated to be done on October 13th.
Other than that, things have been pretty much the same. Rando has been occupied with his new dog (unofficially named cammo-pants!) Zak has taken to farting in little huggie bottles and trying to drink the smell. DJ's been hanging out with hippies and I've been trying not to fall off a bar stool everynight! Also, check back in a while for the up and coming Weekend Warriors Message Board that I'll be putting up on the site. Later!

9/9/01 - Recording
Whats up everyone? Finally, we're getting some shit done. Just yesterday
we went into the studio and layed down the drum tracks for our first 6
song demo! We're working with HomeGrown Records to get the best possible
sound quality. Check them out at here if you're interested.
We should hopefully have a finished product ready for distribution by the
middle of October along with some MP3 samples you can download from here.
Other than getting this recording done, we've been working on the same old
stuff - new songs, drinking beer, and keeping Randy and Zak from killing
each other! We've also got a couple big shows coming up which we're
really excited about. Make sure you come and check out the show with the
Traditionals and Cut Once (info on shows page.) We're also playing
LocalFest at Millvale Industrial Theatre so we can finally get some
exposure to our under 21 friends that keep wanting to see us. Keep
checking back to see where we'll be playing next and who with. Until
then!
